Washington Park in Michigan City was our first site of the day.
My friend Joe told me about the light tower, which I wanted to see.
Thus began our trek.
We were told the tower was at the Zoo just across the street.
Hamming it up seems to be this Parrot's bliss.
Stairs lead the way up to the tower
View from the top of the tower. Whew... what a climb
Camels were waiting for us once we got back to ground level
Peacocks were a frequent site. They run loose throughout the zoo.
Michelle just had to see the parrot again.
It really is one cool bird
Wild life of all forms can be found
even at the Vending Machine
Our day took on a strange twist as we met a nice woman who fed Dead Rats
to the Birds of Prey
She really was nice and friendly, and Cute.
Continuing the tour of the zoo brought us to a number of sights.
